I like that seagulls are intelligent, resilient, social, monogamous, good parents and dexterous fliers, but what I really love about them is their wings - they look like angel wings.

Dearest Jean,
We are all merely burning candles.....so many and so many different paths laid out for us by our Creator before the candle was lit. Some burn longer than others and some shine more brightly. I have experienced a couple near death/death experiences and I know that we will all have these beautiful wings just as these spirit filled birds. Often on my sleepless nights I let the un-paralleled music of Daniel Grayling play until morning. I seem to dream with more intensity and feel myself smiling as I have no more tears. It warms my heart that you not only had a special love with someone I will always call my friend but I find a tear in…

They absolutely do, Jean! We see them every day in our neighborhood (estuary & inner harbor waters are close by, & also a "fish & chip" takeout restaurant :) I have watched them in flight, in conversation, & swooping down to claim free food, but I have not ever before noticed or captured their wing movement as such, frame by frame. Beautiful.
